Antique framed 19th century Chinese late Qing period silk work pictorial panels dating from between 1880 and 1908. There are two interesting panels, with the larger panel on the left depicting Ruyi's and floral elements with the outer edges decorated with children and wealth symbols.
The slightly smaller panel on the right has a lovely central image of a woman carrying what appears to be a flower pot with peonies. These are framed behind glass. We have not attempted to remove the panels and they are as we found them.
Size: Left panel - 10.5" by 4". Right panel - 9" by 4". The overall size including the frame is 12 3/4" by 11". Condition: There is loss to the first 1 on the upper portion of the right panel and overall wear on both, however the right panel is fully intact. The frame is quite worn and is loose at the back (see photos). The item "Antique 19thc Chinese Late Qing Period Silk Work Panels with Woman and Child" is in sale since Monday, January 27, 2020.
