Antique Lacquer Chinese tea caddy box late 18th century

  

Late 18th century Chinese tea caddy storage box. This box has been kept in a curio cabinet in a pet and smoke free home for over 25 years. The damage that I see is some cracking and a couple of places where pieces are missing. Please see close up photos of these areas. Please look carefully at all photos they are part of the description.

There is no key and the box does not shut completely. Measures 9.5" across 7.75" deep and 6 high. For the age of this item it is in very good condition in my opinion.
