Chinese Bronze Scroll Weight Luohan Nandimitra Late Ming/qing

  

Cast bronze scroll weight portraying the luohan Nandimitra, one of the Eighteen Arhats. Nicely modelled sat on a rock holding aloft his attribute, a stupa in his right hand.

His left resting on a knee. Seated in Royal Ease Posture with left leg pendant, he wears a voluminous robe and simple headgear. Very dark brown/black all-over patina. Wear to patina on high spots/extremities.
