GORGEOUS CHINESE WOODEN CAMPHOR CHEST-LATE 1800s. CHEST HAS BEEN MODIFIED WITH COASTERS FOR EASY MOBILITY. This is an antique, oriental, deeply hand carved CHINESE WOODEN CAMPHOR CHEST with a removable glass insert on top, raised lid w/hinges. Please see pics, and please note the artist's ornate carvings which outline all sides including the lid & base. The wood remains raw inside the chest to allow the fragrance of the Camphor for blankets, linens, etc.
