About the item: Fine antique 19th century Chinese Qing Dynasty bronze censor, c1890. This is a well cast and decorated example with lovely pierced lid and finial. The body is decorated with leopards or similar animals on both sides. It stands on tripod legs, has stylised handles and character marks to the base.Overall condition is good with only minor surface wear / rubbing and a very small dent which is highlighted in the photographs it really is tiny! There is a small amount of verdigris/oxidation to the finial which is what you would expect from an older bronze.
