A very interesting Chinese antique silk embroideredchild's hat. It is believed to be from the Qing dynasty, late19th century and aminority community. This special hat has been carefully embroidered insilk materials, all by hand with the greatest attention to detail.

Of museum level curiosity, it requires extensiveand careful conservation as can be seen from the images. There has been no lossof the internal kapok filing. Condition is poor hence the price; in bettercondition this item of headwear would be four times the price. Measuring9in (23cm) by 7in (18cm) maximum.
